About Us
Virtual Distance International (VDI) was founded as a research-based management consulting, training and software development firm in 2004 by Dr. Karen Sobel Lojeski, Dr. Richard Reilly and Mr. David Mogel. Our mission has been to help companies improve collaboration, innovation and productivity in increasingly complex workplaces. Based upon Dr. Sobel Lojeski's research on workplace collaboration in the digital age, Virtual Ditance International has grown quickly to provide consulting and training services to some of the world's most prominent corporations and government agencies.
VDI continues to extend its foundational and ground-breaking research on workplace produtivity through ongoing internal research, collaborative research efforts with partner industry and academic institutions and relationships with industry associations like Institute for Innovation & Information Productivity (IIIP).
